Alameda County Tobacco Control Program’s is holding its Communities of Excellence Needs Assessment. The Needs Assessment meeting is September 22nd from 9:30-12:30 at 1000 Broadway, 5th floor.
This assessment process is crucial for us identifying what objectives we will be working on for the next three year cycle. It’s a somewhat confusing process so we sent staff to a 2 day training so that we would be prepared to facilitate the process. We know that you do not have 2 days so we have tried to simplify the process and materials for participants. We are assessing the strengths and gaps in Alameda County for 12 indicators. We have to do this assessment by looking at 9 different attributes for each indicator, and achieving consensus as a group.
Most importantly we will have food, trivia games and prizes to make this process fun!
