TREATING TOBACCO DEPENDENCE: THE MOST COMMON CO-OCCURRING CONDITION

Description: Excellent Power Point presentation covers basic Tobacco 101. PLUS the training provides a comprehensive overview of why and how to address tobacco dependence treatment for substance abuse and mental health clients. New staff, and/or those who need additional and up-dated information and skills should attend. The training meets staff training requirements under the Behavioral Health Care Services Provider Tobacco Policy Guidelines. Primary care providers who treat patients with substance abuse and mental health problems are also encouraged to attend. Training syllabus provided - includes a lot of additional, very useful information.
